Burial cairns in Glenlyon

My only Scottish ancestors, the McIvors, had their stronghold in Glenlyon and Rannoch. In 1488, they fell out with the Stewarts of Garth and were beaten in battle towards the bottom of Glenlyon. 120 of the survivors were pursued up the glen and wiped out at this spot, a few miles below Stronuich, where burial cairns mark the positions of mass graves.
I first went to Glenlyon in 1988, exactly 500 years later, and now in 2008, back again!! So far, the only ambush we have suffered has been by that Highland coo...........
