We have been away for a few days for our quarterly staff meeting, this spring at Drummuir in Aberdeenshire. Here, our North-east area manager Carol Robertson discusses management of riparian woodland on the floodplain of the River Deveron with Forestry Commission Woodland Officer Steve Brown, from Grampian Conservancy in Huntly. Carol has developed a lot of expertize in managing such woodlands, and his written local biodiversity action plans for these important habitats in the north-east.
