This watercourse is dominated by a conifer forest in the upper 2/3 of the catchment, flowing through a more open native pinewood area below, before entering the lower end of the Cononish. Despite being even-aged conifer, it is a very diverse woodland, with large areas either not establishing very well or having failed completely. It is a private woodland, and scope for useful work to diversify it a bit further, perhaps in conjunction with neighbours.
