I have not seen or heard ANY red grouse on our survey work so far, in fact, we have seen more black grouse and golden plover. Part of the hill here on Lochs Estate today was well burned with young heather coming through, and this little bit of management seems to have secured a nice little habitat, for one grouse at least.......
