All the way up this watercourse there was a steady pattern of the banks being undercut and then subsiding in to the watercourse. It is clearly a very dynamic little tributary. I am wondering if this flooding and erosion has made it unsuitable for water voles, despite the excellent vegetation available for them. There were only two holes found here today.......

Peat Erosion
All the way up this watercourse there was a steady pattern of the banks being undercut and then subsiding in to the watercourse. It is clearly a very dynamic little tributary.
