This is the new improved fish counter at the Falls, recently installed at considerable cost by SSE. The older counter was not that reliable, often counting debris as fish, and being unable to determine whether fish were moving up or down. This new counter will produce more more accurate and valuable information which can be used to help make appropriate management decisions regarding management of fish in the river.
