We are now half way through Glenlyon and priority for me this week is to plan ahead and prepare for the Dochart again, which we should get to in three weeks or so, maybe a bit more. The main centres of population in this area are on the Dochart (Killin, Crianlarich, Tyndrum)and we will be providing opportunities for people to get involved with survey work, and to contribute their ideas as to how things will work as we go forward. I also have to contact landowners to arrange access.
One of the most interesting sites on the Dochart system is the native pinewood at Coille Coire Chuilc. So, if you feel like you are being bombarded by too much of Glenlyon, here are a few photos from the top end of the Dochart for you.......
