Photographic Competition Winner- Eric Paterson

We organized a very popular photographic competition on one of the salmon fishing internet sites, the 74 forum, won by Mr Eric Paterson from Golspie in Sutherland. Part of his prize was a day fishing on the Tay at Dalguise for two rods, and he is pictured above with ghillie Mr Stan Pelc in the Dalguise hut, surely one of the most impressive on the Tay system. Eric also got some spring salmon fishing on the Dee at Cambus O' May as part of his prize, and also a day of photographic tuition from Mr David Robertson, a photogrpaher from Killin and who went with us on our journey to the Source of the Tay last December. Thanks to Stan and also CKD Galbraith for contributing to this excellent prize. And well done Eric. The photos below are taken by him on a very wet day on the Tay.

Coire Coille Chuilc native pinewood near Tyndrum

Known affectionately as CCC, this is a view looking west, just above the river Cononish.

Video- View from top of CCC

You can see here where we have been taking away some old deer fences, and the little birdies are singing away. The sun does sometimes shine on the Dochart, even over Tyndrum on occasion!!

Looking across to Beinn Dorain
