I have just found the setting on my camera that allows continuous photos to be taken. When combined with the Sports setting, this allows photos to be taken every 0.2 seconds. A variation of this saves the last 5 frames only, so, for example, you can sit and wait for a fish to jump up out of the water, and you have it on film when it does. far better than sitting trying to react in time, and missing every time.
This is a salmon trying to eat a tree (!), on the Falls of Shin in Sutherland. I am including a few other shots from LOch Tay and Falls of Dochart today, of some ducks and the water flowing down the falls. I think we can have a bit of fun with this from now on. Wish I had found it before....... and hopefully with a bit of practice, I will be able to get the fish in focus.
